Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma Saturday reviewed the implementation and progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) and Jammu and Kashmir Competitive Initiative Project (JKCIP) in the district.
The meeting reviewed physical and financial progress, beneficiary coverage, approved interventions and timelines for completion of projects.
The DC directed departments to ensure timely delivery of benefits to farmers and strengthen livelihood opportunities in agriculture and allied sectors. He also called for regular monitoring of units established under HADP to ensure they remain functional and deliver intended benefits.
Sharma stressed close coordination among departments, regular field visits and prompt resolution of bottlenecks to achieve the objectives of HADP and JKCIP at the grassroots level. Senior agriculture and allied-sector officers attended the meeting.
