Kupwara : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, on Thursday visited Tekipora village in Lolab and interacted with residents to take stock of developmental concerns and issues faced by the local community.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner met members of the Shiv Mandir Committee and reviewed pending issues concerning the temple. He discussed the matter with concerned officers and committee members and directed coordinated efforts to expedite the pending works within a fixed timeframe.
Residents also projected several demands, including establishment of a library and installation of solar lights at the local Ziarat. The Deputy Commissioner assured them that the issues would be examined and appropriate action taken on priority.
He also inspected the NTPHC Tekipora and reviewed the functioning of the health facility, including the availability of healthcare services.
SDM Lolab, CPO and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
