Director NIT Srinagar visits key sections, reviews Mega Hostel work

Reviews NBA Accreditation, NIRF Rankings and Digital Infrastructure; Plants Sapling on Campus

Srinagar : Prof. Anurag Misra, the Director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, conducted a comprehensive visit to various administrative and academic sections of the institute, engaging with faculty and staff to gather feedback on operational efficiency and coordination. He highlighted the significance of timely work completion and effective collaboration among staff members.

During his visit to the Counselling Cell, Prof. Misra assessed the ongoing undergraduate admission process, commending the arrangements made by Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Bashir Ahmad Mir, and his team. He emphasized the necessity of providing comprehensive support to students and parents during their visits to the institute. Additionally, the Director reviewed the progress of the Mega Hostel project, underscoring its importance for enhancing student infrastructure. He instructed officials to ensure the timely completion of construction and to maintain effective communication among all parties involved in the project to resolve any outstanding issues. Prof. Misra was also updated on the institute’s NBA accreditation, NIRF ranking, and advancements in digital infrastructure, while soliciting feedback on initiatives aimed at bolstering academic and administrative capabilities. In a gesture of commitment to environmental sustainability, he planted a sapling on campus, reinforcing the institute’s dedication to green initiatives.
