Ganderbal, Aug 20: A 45-year-old woman was killed after a Scorpio vehicle collided with a Tata Mobile on a link road in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Naseema Begum, a resident of Akhal Kangan.
She was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
