LG Sinha Meets ICSI Executive Member, Int’l Para Athlete

Srinagar : Executive Member, Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Jammu Chapter, Dr Anuj Vaid, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday and lauded the widespread impact of the NashaMukt Jammu Kashmir campaign.

During the meeting, Dr Vaid appreciated the initiatives being undertaken under the campaign to combat drug abuse and promote a healthier and drug-free society in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a separate meeting, International Para Athlete S. Chandeep Singh also called on the Lieutenant Governor.

Sinha congratulated Chandeep Singh on his extraordinary achievement of covering 7,452 km from Jammu to Kanyakumari and back, setting a record for the longest car journey driven using feet by a differently-abled individual.

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated his determination, courage and achievement, describing it as an inspiration for society and a reflection of the capabilities of persons with disabilities.
