Minister directs doctors to ensure round-the-clock monitoring, best possible care
Jammu| Aug, 10: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo Monday visited Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu and took detailed stock of the health condition and treatment being provided to girls injured in road accident yesterday evening.
During her visit to the hospital, the Minister engaged with the injured girls, inquiring about their health and the medical care they were receiving. She also consulted with doctors and hospital officials to gain insights into the nature of the injuries and the treatment plans in place. The Minister emphasized the importance of providing the best possible care, directing the GMC administration and medical teams to ensure comprehensive treatment and continuous monitoring for all patients. She underscored the government’s commitment to the well-being of the injured, stating that every necessary resource would be mobilized to support their recovery. The Minister insisted on maintaining high standards of patient care, particularly for those in critical condition, and called for effective coordination among hospital departments to ensure the availability of essential medical supplies and services. The hospital administration updated the Minister on the treatment protocols and the status of the injured, confirming that dedicated medical teams were actively involved in their care.
