Sopore : Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) North Kashmir Range, Shri Vinod Kumar-IPS, visited Police District Sopore to chair a security review meeting with officers from the Sopore Police, CAPFs, and sister agencies ahead of Independence Day.
During the meeting detailed discussions were held on deployment plans, access control, traffic management, and area domination. Participating in the meeting SSP Sopore gave a presentation on security measures, including intensified frisking and patrolling. Addressing the meeting DIG NKR directed all officers to maintain high alertness, strengthen security at vulnerable locations, and ensure effective inter-agency coordination while minimizing inconvenience to the general public.
