Sopore : Police on Monday said that it has apprehended a drug peddler at Bagh-e-Sundri Crossing in Sopore during routine checking by Police Post Fruit Mandi.
In a statement issued here on Monday Police said that the man arrested was identified as Mohammad Nasir Khuroo, a resident of Bohripora, Sopore. Psychotropic substances were recovered from his possession. A case (FIR No. 198/2026) under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore to trace the source and broader supply chain.
