Srinagar : SKUAST-K has marked a significant achievement by having six students secure fully funded internships through the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP). This accomplishment highlights the university’s expanding global academic presence and the high caliber of its educational and research environment.
The selected students, who underwent a rigorous selection process, include four undergraduates and two postgraduates, showcasing their academic excellence and research capabilities. These students will conduct research internships at three prominent Taiwanese universities: National Changhua University of Education, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, and National Dong Hwa University. Their internships will provide opportunities to work in advanced research laboratories, collaborate with esteemed scientists, and engage with cutting-edge technologies, thereby enhancing academic ties between SKUAST-K and Taiwanese institutions. The Vice-Chancellor expressed pride in the students’ achievements, emphasizing the importance of international exposure in equipping them with essential scientific knowledge and global perspectives. This experience is expected to prepare them to tackle contemporary challenges in agriculture and the environment.
