Bandipora| Aug, 04:  Dy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Tuesday visited the upcoming Waqar Knowledge Centre at Arin to review the progress of the facility and take stock of the pending works required to make the centre functional.

During the visit, the DC inspected the infrastructure being developed at the centre and reviewed the status of various works being carried out with the support of the Indian Army and the Rural Development Department. She directed the Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora to expedite the execution of the remaining works and ensure that the Waqar Knowledge Centre is made functional at the earliest.

The DC said that the Waqar Knowledge Centre is being developed as a dedicated space for youth where they can engage in constructive and meaningful activities. She also observed that such centres play an important role in positively engaging youth, encouraging learning and promoting a healthy and productive environment within the community. She stressed that timely completion of the project will enable the local youth to benefit from the facilities at the earliest.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, ZaffarHusson Shawl; Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora, Block Development Officer Arin, Officer from the Indian Army and other concerned officers.
