DC Kathua assesses progress of development works

Kathua : Deputy Commissioner KathuaMonday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of development works being executed under the UT Capex, District Plan and the MLA Constituency Development Fund (MLA-CDF).

At the outset, the district officers and executing agencies presented detailed updates on the physical and financial progress of ongoing developmental works across the district.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for timely completion of all sanctioned works. He directed the concerned departments to adhere strictly to the prescribed timelines. Stressing the importance of quality and efficiency in execution, the DC instructed officers to expedite the pace and ensure that all projects are completed at the earliest for the benefit of the public.

The DC directed the concerned departments to complete the necessary formalities for early allotment and execution of new projects proposed under the District Capex Budget, UT Capex and MLA-CDF. Officers were instructed to maintain close coordination to avoid delays and ensure effective implementation.

The meeting was attended by the IAS Probationer Nidhi, Chief Planning Officer Ranjeet Thakur, Assistant Commissioner Development Akhil Sadotra, Executive Engineers and other district and sectoral officers of the concerned departments.
