Jammu : Northern Railway’s Jammu Division on Friday organised a free health check-up camp at the Railway Health Unit, Jammu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club and Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Hospital, providing specialist medical consultation and medicines to railway employees and their families.
The camp offered consultations by specialists in gynaecology, paediatrics and orthopaedics, with around 45 beneficiaries availing the free medical services.
The camp was inaugurated by the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Jammu, who also interacted with the participating doctors and office-bearers of the Rotary Club.
Speaking on the occasion, the DRM said the health and well-being of railway employees and their families remains a top priority for the organisation.
He described the initiative as a significant step towards ensuring access to expert healthcare at the workplace and appreciated the support extended by the Rotary Club and Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Hospital in organising the camp.
The DRM said Northern Railway’s Jammu Division would continue organising similar health awareness and medical outreach programmes to promote the welfare and well-being of its employees and their families.
