SOG Personnel Injured in Accidental Shooting at Kokernag

Srinagar: A Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, identified as Mohammad Altaf, sustained a bullet injury to his foot when his service weapon accidentally discharged in the Kokernag area of south Kashmir on Friday. Officials confirmed he was initially treated at Sub-District Hospital Kokernag before being transferred to Government Medical College Anantnag for specialized care, where his condition remains under monitoring.
