Jammu : Local authorities launched an investigation on Thursday morning after residents discovered an unidentified body wrapped inside a bathtub floating in a water canal in the Baba Demb area of Srinagar. Police personnel secured the scene shortly after being alerted by eyewitnesses, holding the area until the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team arrived to process evidence and assist in determining the victim’s identity and cause of death.
