Tangmarg : Police on Friday said that in coordination with the Geology & Mining Department four vehicles have been seized by it in Kunzer area.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said a team of enforcers from Station Kunzer and the District Mineral Officer seized four vehicles involved in extracting and transporting Nala Bajri from Pariswani Nallah. The seized machinery included a tipper (JK02BV-9097), two tractors (Chassis Nos. NHM3630SZKC and WSCM61618945), and a dumper (JK05G-4016), driven respectively by Mohd Yousuf Parra, Mudasir Ahmad Beigh, Shakir Hamid War, and Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie. The vehicles were handed over to the Geology & Mining Department for penalties and further legal proceedings under mining laws.
