Body shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for post-mortem; preliminary investigation points to suspected suicide

Ganderbal, July 22 : A 25-year-old student was found dead in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Farhan Rashid Khan, son of Haroon Rashid Khan, a resident of the Wayil Wudeer area of Gutlibagh in Ganderbal district.

Officials said the body was shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for post-mortem examination and other medico-legal formalities.
