Shopian : Police on Tuesday said that it has attached a commercial vehicle acquired through illicit drug trade proceeds.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Police said a load carrier (JK03J-9305) valued at ₹1,63,778, belonging to Hilal Ahmad Bhat of Daramdora Keegam, was attached in connection with FIR No. 51/2025 at Police Station Heerpora. Executed in presence of an Executive Magistrate, the operation underscores the department’s firm resolve to dismantle the financial infrastructure of drug syndicates.
