Thirty officers from 14 states attend national programme
Srinagar : Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has begun a five-day national training programme for 30 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers from 14 states on the use of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in forest and wildlife conservation.
The programme, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, covers AI, drones, GIS, remote sensing and satellite monitoring. Participants will also undertake field visits to Dachigam National Park, Wular Lake and Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve.
