Jammu: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh informed the House that augmentation of Receiving Station from 1×6.3 MVA to 2×6.3 MVA, alongwith other system strengthening works at Ichgam, Budgam has been approved under DDUGJY at a cost of Rs 0.75 crore.
He was replying to a question by Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. However he said the augmentation project was delayed due to litigation.
“The tenders for the augmentation project were invited but subsequently cancelled. The re-tendering of the works could not be undertaken owing to ongoing litigation in High Court, Srinagar” Deputy Chief Minister said.
