Panaji (Goa) : The Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) is actively participating in the national event “Empowering India 2026,” taking place in Goa from July 18 to 20, 2026.
Representing the university are Prof. Shahid Rasool, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir, Registrar. During the inaugural session, Prof. Rasool underscored the importance of multidisciplinary education and research in equipping graduates for future challenges. He noted that such national platforms foster collaboration and innovation, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. Dr. Mir emphasized the event’s role in allowing higher educational institutions to highlight their academic strengths and research accomplishments while building partnerships with various sectors, including academia, industry, and government. He reiterated CUKashmir’s dedication to quality education and research excellence as part of its contribution to nation-building. The university’s stall garnered considerable attention, showcasing its academic programs, research initiatives, and student-focused efforts. The event has attracted a diverse array of participants, including leading educational institutions, research organizations, and government representatives, all aimed at promoting collaboration and excellence in higher education through interactive exhibitions and demonstrations.
