Sopore : Police on Friday said that it has arrested a drug peddler during a routine patrol in Sopore Bus Stand area. The suspect was intercepted at Neharpora after exhibiting suspicious behavior.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Police said that during a personal search of the accused, identified as Abid Fayaz Shah of Sopore illicit psychotropic substances were recovered. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore, and an investigation is underway to trace the supplier network.
