Properties Worth ₹1.5 Cr Attached In Kulgam: Police

Kulgam : Police on Wednesday said that it has attached three residential houses worth approximately ₹1.50 crores belonging to notorious drug peddlers. The operation was executed by Police Station Kulgam in coordination with the Revenue Department, targeting properties linked to illicit proceeds under the ongoing 100 Days Campaign against drug abuse. The attached assets belong to Ikhlaq Mubarak Nengroo of Amnoo, Aqib Mubarak Dar of Brazloo, and Showkat Ahmad Rather of Ashmuji.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, police said this action reflects the firm commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to ensure that proceeds of crime and properties linked to unlawful activities are dealt with strictly in accordance with the law, reiterating therein its commitment to dismantle drug networks besides appealing people to report suspicious activities.
