Awantipora : Police on Monday said that it has solved a hit-and-run case in Tral after following intensive technical and human intelligence tracking.
In a statement issued here on Monday Police said that the accused motorist, Mursaleen Riyaz, had fled the scene after knocking down a pedestrian on Kahleel Road. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment, while the suspect’s Pulsar motorcycle has been officially seized. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to accountability for road traffic offences, appealing all motorists therein to drive responsibly and strictly follow traffic regulations to protect human lives.”
