DC Rajouri reviews progress of Revenue Sector’s Infra Projects

Sharma directs timely completion, early land identification

 

Rajouri :Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, Saturday  chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of developmental works being executed under the Revenue Sector across the district, with a focus on expediting infrastructure development and strengthening public service delivery.

Reviewing both ongoing and proposed projects, the Deputy Commissioner examined their physical and financial progress and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of all sanctioned works while maintaining quality standards.

To facilitate the execution of new projects, the Deputy Commissioner instructed Tehsildars to identify suitable parcels of State land wherever required for the construction of revenue infrastructure, emphasizing that timely land identification is essential for effective planning and implementation.

The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the status of key infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Tehsil Office Thanamandi, Tehsil Office Khawas, Niabat Office Kangri and Niabat Office Bhawani, besides other revenue buildings across the district. He directed the executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work and ensure completion within the stipulated timelines.

To strengthen revenue infrastructure in uncovered areas, the Deputy Commissioner asked all Additional Deputy Commissioners to submit proposals for new Revenue Department offices wherever required and directed the concerned officers to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) at the earliest for timely approval and funding.

Stressing the importance of coordinated efforts, the Deputy Commissioner called upon all field officers to resolve bottlenecks promptly, maintain close coordination and ensure that developmental works are completed within the prescribed timeframe to improve administrative efficiency and public service delivery.

The meeting was attended by ADDC MalikzadaSheraz Ul Haq; ADC Mohd Tanvir; ADC Ramkesh Sharma; ADC Dil Mir; ADC Pritam Lal Thapa; SDM Abid Hussain Shah; CPO Maqsood Ahmed; ACR Mohd Jahangir Khan; SE PWD (R&B) Manzoor Ahmed; Executive Engineers and other concerned officers.
