Rajouri, July 10 (GNS): A 68-year-old man was killed after being attacked by a bear in the upper reaches of Darhal area of Rajouri district on Friday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Dhok Jangwala, Panj Katha, they told GNS.
Officials said the incident took place when the elderly man was in the upper reaches of Darhal. He sustained serious injuries in the attack and died on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
