Srinagar : Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Tuesday welcomed the 329 newly appointed Junior Engineers (Civil) and expressed confidence that they will uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and dedication in public service.
The Jal Shakti Department has issued appointment orders to the 329 appointees out of 346 candidates selected by the J&K Services Selection Board. They have been posted in various wings of the department to augment technical manpower.
Rana appreciated the JKSSB for completing the selection process in a transparent and time-bound manner and for promptly furnishing the select list to the department. He also acknowledged the Criminal Investigation Department for expeditiously completing the character and antecedent verification of all 329 selected candidates, which facilitated timely issuance of appointment orders.
Additional Chief Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, ShaleenKabra, has also extended his best wishes to the new appointees. He said they are expected to discharge their duties with integrity and commitment to ensure efficient, effective and quality service delivery in the larger public interest.
