Jammu, July 7: Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat, IPS , on Tuesday visited Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp , Jammu, and reviewed the security and logistical arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026).
During the visit, the DGP assessed the overall security deployment, access control, surveillance measures, pilgrim facilitation, and emergency response mechanisms. He interacted with officers on duty and directed them to maintain the highest standards of vigilance, coordination, and public-friendly policing to ensure a safe, secure, and smooth pilgrimage for all devotees.
The DGP was accompanied by DIG CRPF, DIG-P Jammu Samba Kathua Range, SSP Jammu, and other senior officers of CAPF.
