A total of 227 undergraduate students from SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu are participating in the ten-day (60-hour) programme, being conducted through seven batches. The initiative aims to provide experiential learning opportunities, entrepreneurial exposure, understanding of the startup ecosystem and skill development among students.

The programme is being conducted under the aegis of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Research (CEER), a programme vertical of JKEDI. Through interactive sessions, practical assignments, field exposure and expert interactions, participants will gain insights into entrepreneurship development, startup promotion, business planning, innovation and institutional support mechanisms available for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The programme is being facilitated by JKEDI faculty members and resource persons serving as batch coordinators and mentors, who are guiding participants through sessions on entrepreneurship and innovation, experiential learning activities and mentorship to help students understand entrepreneurial opportunities and career pathways.

Out of the total 227 participants, 188 students are attending the programme at JKEDI Regional Office Bari Brahmana and 39 students at JKEDI District Centre Jammu.

The programme is expected to encourage students to explore entrepreneurship as a career option while enhancing their employability and professional competencies. JKEDI continues to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and youth empowerment across Jammu and Kashmir.
