Srinagar, June 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) continues to inspire people across the world to remain steadfast in the pursuit of truth and justice.
In a post on X on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashura, the Prime Minister said that the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS) serves as a timeless reminder of the enduring power of courage and conviction.
“The sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) continues to inspire many people to remain steadfast in the pursuit of truth and justice. It is also a reminder of the enduring power of courage and conviction,” PM Modi said in the post.
The Prime Minister’s message came as people across the country observed Youm-e-Ashura, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions at Karbala.
