Srinagar, June 26: On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday reaffirmed the commitment towards protecting youth from the menace of drug abuse and achieving the vision of a “Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir.”
In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor called for collective efforts to combat drug abuse and create a healthier society.
“On Int’l Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, let’s reaffirm our resolve to protect youth & realise the vision of a Nasha Mukt J&K. Through collective action, awareness & social responsibility, we can defeat this menace & build a healthier society for future generations,” LG Sinha said in the post.
The Lieutenant Governor emphasized the importance of public participation, awareness and social responsibility in eradicating the menace of drug abuse and safeguarding future generations.
He urged all sections of society to join hands in the fight against drugs and contribute towards building a drug-free and healthy Jammu and Kashmir.
