Pulwama: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar Wednesday inaugurated J&K Bank ATM at Parigam Pulwama.
The inauguration was done in presence of J&K Bank Zonal Head Pulwama and Shopian Tasaduq Ahmad Dar, J&K Bank Cluster Head (South) Muzaffar Qadri and local gathering.
Highlighting the importance of banking services, the DDC said financial institutions play a vital role in the socio-economic transformation of the people, particularly in rural areas. He advised the bank authorities for providing hassle-free loans to unemployed youth of the area for setting up own income generating units.
While inaugurating the ATM, the DDC thanked the Bank authorities for providing the facility to the people of the Parigam. He said this initiative of the bank has made banking services available to the people at their doorsteps. He urged people to avail benefit from the different schemes run by J&K Bank.
