Anantnag : Police on Wednesday said that it has booked six individuals for drug consumption after they tested positive during separate checks conducted across the district.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Police said that suspects were subjected to medical examination using Rapid Drug Detection Kits, which confirmed drug use. Subsequently, six FIRs under Section 8/27 of the NDPS Act were registered at the respective police stations. Further investigation is underway.
