Ganderbal: Police on Wednesday said that it has arrested four alleged drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances during separate operations in Anantnag, Baramulla and Ganderbal.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Police said that in Achabal, over 739 grams of charas-like substance were seized from two accused following which an FIR was registered under the NDPS Act. In Baramulla’s Pattan area, a Jammu resident was arrested with 14 grams of brown sugar-like substance and ₹15,000 cash. In Ganderbal, police recovered over 2.1 kilograms of charas-like substance from a suspect apprehended during naka checking. Separate cases have been registered and investigations are underway.
