Sakeena Itoo holds public outreach camp at Yaripora, reviews Muharram arrangements at Shahoo

Kulgam : Minister for Education, Health and Social Welfare, Sakeena Itoo, on Saturday visited Kulgam and held a public darbar at Yaripora, where she interacted with the local residents and assessed their grievances and developmental concerns.

During the camp, people from different areas projected issues related to civic amenities, infrastructure, healthcare, education and other public welfare matters.

The Minister assured them that their genuine concerns would be addressed in a time-bound manner through coordination with the concerned departments.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the government is working for welfare and development of the people.

MLA Devsar Peerzada Feroze Ahmad Shah also said that the government is committed to betterment of the people and highlighted the developmental requirements of the area.

Later, the Minister visited Shahoo to take stock of the arrangements being put in place for the upcoming observance of Muharram-ul-Haram. She reviewed the preparations related to sanitation, drinking water, electricity, healthcare facilities, traffic management and other essential services to ensure the smooth conduct of the religious observance.

While interacting with the officers, Sakeena Itoo directed the concerned departments to work in close coordination and ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed well in advance. She emphasized the importance of providing all required facilities to the mourners and maintaining seamless public services during the occasion.
