DC Kulgam reviews arrangements at Mata Tripuri Sundri Temple ahead of Zeashta Ashtami

Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, on Saturday visited the Mata Tripuri Sundri Temple, Devsar, to review the arrangements being made for the smooth and successful conduct of the annual Zeashta Ashtami celebrations, scheduled to commence on June 18.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Tehsildar Devsar, Rakib Ahmad; Executive Officer Devsar, Irfan Ahmed; AE Jal Shakti, Towseef Ahmad and other senior officers.

During the visit, officials from various departments, including KPDCL, Jal Shakti, Health, and other line departments, briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the preparations being undertaken to ensure the availability of essential services and facilities for devotees expected to visit the shrine.

Reviewing the arrangements, the DC emphasized the need for effective coordination among all departments to ensure a safe, hassle-free, and comfortable experience for pilgrims. He directed the concerned officers to complete all necessary preparations well ahead of the religious event.

 

The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with members of the temple management committee and assured them of full administrative support for the successful observance of the Zeashta Ashtami festival.

 

The visit was aimed at assessing on-ground preparedness and ensuring that all requisite facilities are put in place for the convenience of devotees during the annual religious occasion.
