Ramban : Principal Census Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan on Saturday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the ongoing House Listing Operations (HLO) being conducted under Phase-I of Census-2027 in the district.
During the review, the Principal Census Officer took a detailed assessment of progress achieved in various House Listing Blocks and reviewed the quality of field work being carried out by census functionaries.
The Principal Census Officer directed all officers concerned to ensure timely completion of the House Listing Operations within the prescribed timeline, stressing the need for close supervision and effective coordination among Charge Officers, Supervisors and Enumerators to achieve targets efficiently.
He further instructed that regular monitoring and field visits be conducted by the officers concerned to ensure the quality of data collection and address any issues faced by field staff. The officers were also directed to verify progress regularly and ensure adherence to guidelines issued by the Directorate of Census Operations.
Among those present were District Census Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Ramban Varunjeet Singh Charak, Additional District Census Officer Ramban Ashfaq-ur-Rehman and all Charge Census Officers of the district, who attended through virtual mode.
