DC Budgam reviews Traffic Management, Tourist Facilities at Doodhpathri

Budgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, Tuesday chaired a meeting to review traffic management arrangements and tourist facilities at Doodhpathri Budgam.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Superintendent of Police Budgam, Chief Executive Officer Doodhpathri Development Authority, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Khansahib, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic Rural) Budgam, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Budgam, and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, a review of the existing traffic management system and visitor facilitation measures was undertaken. Various issues related to smooth vehicular movement, tourist convenience, and overall management of the destination were discussed in detail.

The DC emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholder departments to ensure efficient traffic regulation and a safe, orderly, and hassle-free experience for tourists.

He stressed the need for effective implementation of necessary arrangements to facilitate visitors and strengthen on-ground management during the peak tourist season.

The DC reiterated that the District administration is committed towards enhancing visitor experience while ensuring safety, convenience at tourist destination Doodhpathri.
