DDC Doda reviews progress of CAPEX works

Doda :To accelerate developmental activities in the district, District Development Commissioner Doda, Krishan Lal today chaired a review meeting on Capex works at the conference hall of the DC Office, Doda.

During the meeting, officers from various departments presented detailed updates on the ongoing developmental projects across the district. They apprised the District Development Commissioner of the status of pending works and the bottlenecks hindering their timely execution.

The meeting reviewed projects related to road connectivity, school infrastructure, healthcare facilities and sports development.

Reviewing the progress of the PWD (R&B) works, the District Development Commissioner assessed the status of road connectivity projects and the construction and upgradation of roads, bridges and allied infrastructure across the district. He issued directions to ensure quality execution and timely completion of all sanctioned works.

The meeting also reviewed the performance of Urban Local Bodies, with a focus on developmental and civic improvement works including drainage systems, sanitation, beautification initiatives, lane and drain construction, solid waste management and other urban infrastructure projects.

The meeting laid special focus on works pertaining to the Health Department, including the construction of health buildings, boundary wall fencing and BMO complexes.

Reviewing the works under the Rural Development Department, the District Development Commissioner assessed the progress under BDC grants and the physical performance under MGNREGA.

The District Development Commissioner directed all officers concerned to expedite work and ensure completion within the stipulated timelines. Stressing the importance of coordinated efforts, he instructed the departments to maintain close inter-departmental coordination for the effective implementation of developmental projects.

He further directed the officers to submit geo-tagged photographs of all physically completed works for proper monitoring and documentation.

The meeting also reviewed the developmental works under MPLAD and the Constituency Development Fund. The District Development Commissioner instructed the officers concerned to complete these projects in a time-bound manner.

The meeting also reviewed the progress under the Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme.

Among those present were the Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle, Doda; Chief Planning Officer Doda, the Assistant Commissioner (Development), the Chief Medical Officer; the Chief Education Officer; the Executive Engineers of the R&B, Jal Shakti and PMGSY departments; Block Development Officers; Assistant Engineers; Junior Engineers and other officials concerned.
