Minister also distributes ECCE Kits at GPS Dangerpora
Kulgam|June, 06: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo on Saturday visited Malvan and laid the foundation stone for the construction of an additional classroom at Government Primary School Showgund.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening educational infrastructure to provide a conducive learning environment for students and reiterated the Government’s commitment towards improving facilities in schools across the region.
During her visit, Sakeena Itoo also distributed Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) kits among students of Government Primary School (GPS) Dangerpora, Malvan. The kits are aimed at enhancing foundational learning and promoting activity-based education among young children.
Interacting with students, teachers and local residents, the Minister highlighted the significance of early childhood education in shaping the future of children and stressed the need for ensuring quality education at the grassroots level.
Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, Director School Education Kashmir, senior officers of the Education Department and district administration also accompanied the Minister during the visit.
