Bhaderwah :Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Din Mohammad Aslam Saturday chaired a meeting to review the progress of Rural Development Department (RDD) schemes and key performance indicators being implemented in block Bhaderwah.

The ACD conducted a detailed review of ongoing and completed works under flagship rural development programmes- MGNREGA, PMAY-G, SBM-G, Amrit Sarovar, watershed development initiatives, rural infrastructure projects and other centrally sponsored schemes.

The physical and financial progress achieved under different sectors was examined, with emphasis on timely completion of works and effective utilization of resources.

Special focus was laid on saturation of beneficiary-oriented schemes, verification of pending cases, generation of adequate person-days under MGNREGA and timely release of benefits to eligible beneficiaries.

Reviewing the performance indicators, Din Mohammad Aslam emphasized the need for achieving set targets under all schemes and directed officers to identify bottlenecks hindering progress.

The ACD further instructed officials to prioritize cleanliness and sanitation initiatives, accelerate housing projects under PMAY-G and ensure completion of all pending works before the onset of adverse weather conditions.

The meeting was attended by the Block Development Officer, Assistant Programme Officer, Panchayat Secretaries, Junior Engineers, Gram Rozgar Sevaks and other officials of the Rural Development Department.
