Poonch,: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma on Saturday conducted an extensive inspection of NH-144A and the RTS Road to review developmental works, road connectivity and public services.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected vulnerable and bottleneck locations and directed concerned departments to ensure immediate clearance for smooth traffic movement.
He also inspected government schools and reviewed infrastructure, staff attendance and academic functioning.
Taking note of water supply complaints raised by locals, the Deputy Commissioner directed Jal Shakti officials to address the grievances on priority and improve drinking water facilities in affected areas.
