Urges citizens of district to Join Self-Enumeration Drive
BUDGAM, MAY 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan today completed his self-enumeration for Census-2027 and called upon the people of the District Budgam to actively participate in the self-enumeration process to ensure accurate and inclusive census data.
He said that self-enumeration provides citizens an easy and convenient way to submit their census details online from their homes through the official website, se.census.gov.in.
The DC urged the general public of Budgam to join the self enumeration drive and make the initiative successful through maximum participation.
The DC further said that accurate population data plays a vital role in planning and policy formulation, besides helping the government in effective delivery of public services and welfare programmes.
Meanwhile, concerned officers were directed to intensify awareness efforts across the district to facilitate wider public participation and ensure smooth conduct of the Census-2027 exercise.
Additionally, the staff of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office also completed their self-enumeration exercise.
Among others, District Coordinator for Census-2027, Jay Kumar Singh Shekhawat, officials of Census Cell, DC Office Budgam besides other officials were present on the occasion.
