KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

SRINAGAR, MAY 15: Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 132/33 kV GSS Amargarh will be observed due to which power supply to Panzipora, Tarzoo, Hygam, Shair Colony, Arampora, Mahrajpora, Bugoo, Police Station, ADC Watlab, Hathlangoo, Warpora, Dooru, Shiva, Tujjar, Sharief Shrine, Nowpora, Mazbugh, Reban, Achabal, Doabgah, Ferozpora, Panzulla, Shutloo, Chakloo, Ladoora, Nadihal, Gurseer, Pethseer, PHE, Fruit Mandi Sopore, LIS Ladoora, Dangiwacha, Hachipora, Hadipora, watrigam, Safalpora, Ganapora, Nowpora, Seelu, Bomai, seer, Chakloo, Ruhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 04 PM on 17 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Arampora Handwara Town line, 33 KV Arampora Handwara Old line and 33 KV Arampora Kupwara Old line will be observed due to which power supply to Marathgam, Chogal, Handwara Town, Kulangam, Zachaldara, Changimulla, Rajpora, Wadipora, Hangah, Haril, Batagund, Whole Lolab, Machil Valley and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 18 May 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Nehalpora Pattan-Amargarh line will be observed due to which power supply to Pattan, Palhalan, Nehalpora, Hanjiwera, Trama, Hamray, Tapper, Wanigam, Lolipora, Cold Store, Hyderbeigh, Flour Mill, North End Hospital, Railway, Hamray and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 17 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Nehalpora HMT line will be observed due to which power supply to Kalsari, Singhpora, Duslipora, SKUAST, SSM, Mirgund, Ramilgarh, Shadipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 18, 20 & 25 May 2026
Further, shutdown of 33 KV Delina Wagoora line will be observed due to which power supply to Wagoora, Kawcheck, Mangam, Watergam, Kreeri, Saloosa, Hospital, Sangrama, Nowpora, Boosu, Cold Store and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 19 & 21 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Delina Kreeri Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Kreeri, Saloosa, Hospital and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 21 & 25 May 2026.
Likewise, 33 kV Alasteng Power House Line will be observed due to which power supply to Beehama, Arampora, Arch, Nunner, Manigam, Duderhama, Malshaibagh, Wayil, Gultibagh & adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 17 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Kangan Surfaw Line and 33 kV Kangan-Kangan Line will be observed due to which power supply to Gund, Kullan, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan, Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Babanagri, Canal and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 16 May 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Kangan-Wussan Line will be observed due to which power supply to Wussan, Preng, Manigam, Haripora & adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 19 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Khunmoh SIDCO-III line will be observed due to which power supply to Cement plants viz. SAIFCO, KHYBER, TCI MAX will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 24 May and 07 June 2026.
Further, shutdown of 33 kV Pampore-Badamibagh line and Panthachowk Pampore line will be observed due to which power supply to Sonwar, Shivpora, Indranagar, Badamibagh, WSS Tangnar, Panthachowk, Lasjan, Summerbugh, Govt. Press, Flour Mills and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03.30 PM on 03 June 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Khunmoh SIDCO-II line will be observed due to which power supply to Industrial Area Khunnmoh will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 31 May 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Khunmoh SIDCO-I line will be observed due to which power supply to Khunmoh, Wuyan, Balhama, TCI Old, Zaffran colony, Chak Sangri, JKAP Befina, TCI Wuyen and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 14 & 28 June 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Soura-SKIMS Line will be observed due to which power supply to Soura, Zoonimar, Nowshera, Buchpora, Anchar and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 15 June 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Habak Owantabhawan-SKIMS line will be observed due to which power supply to Ontabhawan, Lal Bazar and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 17 June 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Khanyar-Rainawari Line will be observed due to which power supply to Miskeen Bagh, Makhdoom Sahib, Rozabal, Hazaribagh, Konabal, Hassanabad, Jogilankar and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03:30 PM on 20 June 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Awantipora line will be observed due to which power supply to Awantipora, Jawbhara, Barsoo, Malangpora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Midoora, Bohu and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 02 PM on 21 May 2026.
