Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated SBI RSETI for promoting entrepreneurship among rural youth and women. He emphasised the importance of skill-based training programmes in strengthening the economic condition of women and encouraging them to start their own ventures.

He further motivated the trainees to take maximum benefit from the training and effectively utilise the acquired skills for sustainable income generation.

The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the training facilities being provided at the institute. He assured full support from the district administration for the initiatives aimed at the socio-economic uplift of the younger generation. He highlighted that empowering women through skill development is essential for building a self-reliant society.

Speaking on the occasion, Director SBI RSETI S. Harvinder Singh highlighted the role of the institute in providing free skill development training programmes for unemployed youth and women across the district. He informed that the Tailor Training Programme would provide practical and entrepreneurship-oriented training to participants for establishing their own tailoring units and businesses.
