Omar Javaid assumes charge of Director SKIMS

Srinagar: Professor Omar Javed Shah Saturday assumed the charge of Director SKIMS.
He was chosen for the job after the removal Dr AG Ahangar.
Ahangar was removed after media reports that majority of the doctors at SKIMS are indulging in private practice.
Government of Jammu and Kashmir according to sources is intending to fight a legal battle in the court of law. Ahangar has already approached court challenged his attachment.
