After a four-year hiatus, the traditional Darbar Move resumed in Srinagar on Monday, marked by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah taking a ceremonial guard of honour under heightened security.
With the shift, the Civil Secretariat and various government offices have reopened in Srinagar for the summer session, after operating from Jammu during the winter months. Officials confirmed that offices formally closed in Jammu on April 30.
Authorities ensured robust security arrangements across Srinagar to facilitate a smooth and secure reopening process.
