Srinagar, Apr 22: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur and met those injured in the recent tragic road accident.
During his visit, the Chief Minister interacted with the injured and their families, enquiring about their condition and the treatment being provided. He directed hospital authorities and officials to ensure the best possible medical care with continuous monitoring of all patients.
Abdullah assured full support to the affected families in this hour of grief and said the government stands firmly with them. He also stressed the need for taking strict measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Sakina Itoo and Satish Sharma during the visit.
