Jammu: A training program on HortNet was organized at Horticulture complex, Talab Tillo, Jammu in which participants drawn from all the districts of the Jammu including Chief Horticulture Officers, District Horticulture Officers, Subject Matter Specialists Dev officers took part.
The training was imparted by Senior Technical Director and national project director Horticulture Mission computerization Rakesh Vardan Ministry of Electronics and information technology Govt. of India and Arif Ali Technical Director NIC Horti. Net Hyderabad.
A detailed emphasis was laid for online registration of Farmers for availing incentives under various flagship schemes of Govt. of India including disbursement of incentive through DBT.
On the occasion, a healthy question/answer session was also conducted wherein clarification with respect to various issues were sought by the trainee officers.
Earlier, Director Horticulture welcomed the officers and stressed upon the departmental officers to take benefit of the training course.
