Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum has strongly condemned the misleading and incorrect remarks made by Sujada Bashir of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party regarding school policies in J&K.
In a press statement, General Secretary Tahir Ahmad Sofi, under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Showket Ali Beigh, took serious note of these statements. He said such irresponsible remarks distort ground realities and create unnecessary confusion especially on sensitive issues related to education and student welfare.
He clarified that, as every allocation or decision made in the govt schools is per the govt policy already farmed and any claim otherwise reflects either a misunderstanding or an attempt to mislead.
He emphasized that the education sector must remain free from political interference, as mixing politics with education harms institutions and the future of students.He also stated that teachers today contribute beyond classrooms, serving society in multiple roles with dedication and integrity.
The leadership of the forum urged individuals to act responsibly and with factual accuracy, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the dignity of the education sector.
