Srinagar : A district-level awareness programme under the 100-day NashaMukt J&K Abhiyaan was held at Government Degree College Shopian on Friday.
ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone, stressed the role of parents, teachers and society in safeguarding youth from drug addiction and called for coordinated grassroots action.
Experts highlighted health and psychological impacts of substance abuse, while police officials emphasised strict enforcement and public cooperation. The event witnessed participation from students, civil society and officials from various departments.
